Ron Berman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Examiners and a Certified Animal Evaluator with nearly 30 years experience as a canine and feline behavior consultant. He has given testimony in deposition and at trial over 175 times and has been qualified as an expert in dog aggression, dog training, cat aggression, dog and cat behavior, wound evaluation, human/canine interaction, human/feline interaction, proper handling of dogs and cats by owners and animal care agencies and animal abuse as well as attack dynamics... including whether or not provocation was involved. He has been retained as an expert witness in cases filed in civil, criminal and federal courts throughout the country.

Ron has conducted nearly 4 dozen seminars on the evaluation, investigation and litigation of pet related injuries for trial lawyers, consumer attorney organizations and defense attorneys as well as in house seminars for major insurance carriers including Farmers Insurance, State Farm Insurance, Allstate Insurance, CNA, Wausau and Safeco among others. He was also chosen to instuct a course on the subject for the Insurance Education Association in Northern California. His articles have been published in numerous plaintiff, defense and insurance publications nationally.
